i am so awesome

well i have to admit that this is one of the few books that i've read start to finish in this class and i'm glad i did. it was surprisingly really good. the little quotes on the back were pretty much all right: riviting, unforgettable. it really jumped out at me. i think the end of the book was good but it was kind of dull. it wasnt the happy ending that i expected about 50 pages before it was over. but you could almost tell it wasnt going to end the was amir wanted it to. i think it would be cool to see how the family turned out after a couple years. i also think it made sense. his new relationship in america with sohrab started right where his old relationship with hassan ended; rape, betrayal. it serves amir right to have to really work on this after what he had done to hassan years before. another thing: wheres simon been? i thought he was supposed to show up every friday but i havent seen him in a few weeks. i miss the guy. i also wonder where rahim khan or how ever you spell that went. through and through the kite runner was a really good book but i'm not looking forward to 19 minutes or whatever. it sounds like a chick flick in book form. after i read the book i looked a sparknotes in the symbols and themes and you really see all the connections the sling shot and pommegrante tree and the hair lip have to do with the themes and lessons in the book.
